Bug Week! Part III

The Four-eyed Sand Skimmer is another three-generation MOC, using six-of-seven POHATU toes as legs, a BOHROK torso, and two Mask of Light MATORAN torsi. With the exception of the eyes, the FESS’s biggest drawback (along with my other Bug Week! MOCs) is that it suffers from a serious lack of posability. Still, it looks as though it could spring forth into action at the drop of a gnat.

We are getting some good questions in the forums about the contest. I will try to address all of them this week both here and in the forums. If you would like to enter the contest, you will need to do the following:

1) Build a MOC using only those parts (and only those quantities of parts) found in this 8711 Master Accessory Kit . If your kit came with a part not listed, I will need to approve the part prior to your using it. Keep track of which parts you use and the quantities thereof.

2) Take a picture of your MOC. It can be a digital picture or a print picture or a hybrid.

3) Send me your MOC picture along with your parts list. You can send it electronically to bugweek@redquark.com , or you can send it in the mail to:

    Bug Week! Contest
    PO Box 981

Misdirected entries will not be considered.

4) If you want to be eligible to win a prize, then you will need to be eighteen (18) years of age or older or have a parent or guardian enter your MOC on your behalf. You will also need to send a valid postal address along with your entry so your prize can be sent to you.

5) Only one entry per person. In the case of multiple entries, only the first entry will be considered.

6) Entries must be received by May 29, 2004.

7) Neither Purple Dave nor myself nor members of my family are eligible to win prizes.
