Even A KAHU Has To Rest Sometime…




In the first picture, the KAHU is shown built as designed, with HAFU temping for KONGU as the rider. In the second picture, I’ve pulled all the gear-strips loose on the ends closest to the KAHU’s body, and at this point the wings can be folded up. The third picture shows where I reattached the outer pair of gear-strips to the inner pair of struts, which when the inner gear strips are tucked up to the bases of their respective wings, makes the whole thing look much more tidy. The end result is a KAHU that looks perfectly at home perched on a shelf, keeping watch over the local TOHUNGA.
