BrickUniverse Raleigh 2016 Creations
Posted by Richard on April 6, 2016 at 07:01 PM CST:
This year BrickUniverse in Raleigh had well over four times the content of last year's event. I've put together just over an hours worth of MOCs into a video here on youtube. Sadly a few MOCs were missed, at least two to my knowledge that had to leave early with their creator. I also did not have video of the moving creations since they were only running during public hours. Forum link OOPS! "The 1st Shadow" informed me the video was set to private. Its fixed now.
BrickUniverse Raleigh 2015 display (Last Year's Event)

With Brick Universe coming up in a couple days, now is probably a good time to check out the last Raleigh event. I put together a video attempting to show off as much of last year's creations as I could, though I did miss a few interesting things that were not up for the entire duration of the event. The video may look a little chaotic, but I did try to give everything a good lookover for the viewers, and not just a quick glance.
Review: #70793 Skull Basher
Posted by Richard on August 3, 2015 at 12:16 PM CST:
When I asked our readers which set to review first, Matoro responded with questions about Skull Basher, so Ill start with him. He's far from perfect, with questionable colors and absurdly huge horns. If you can look past the problems with his design, his unique action feature makes up for them. I like all the new villain sets for different reasons, but so far Skull Basher my favorite to play with.
A LEGO Powered Tank And Your Support
Posted by Richard on July 8, 2014 at 07:09 PM CST:
I'm taking a shot at LEGO® Ideas, and earlier today they approved and posted my project. Its an IR remote controlled Power Functions tank that can shoot zamor spheres and scavenge for it's own ammunition, using only two motors. Its quite a feat of engineering if I may say so. I'm hoping with our readers support it could be an off-the-shelf kit one day. Feel free to send Mask Of Destiny links to your own LEGO Ideas projects, they count as MOCs too (which I'd love to post more of!), and even better if we can help your project's chances of becoming an official set in the process! Happy BARRAKI Birthday!
Posted by Mark on July 23, 2007 at 11:01 AM CST:
Birthday Express has new BARRAKI items available for your next underwater birthday. I particularly want those Mahri Nui placemats, but the stickers and balloons (all in the "BARRAKI Party Supplies" section) are nice too.
