Vita Version Of Terraria Free For PSPlus Members Posted by Richard on June 18, 2014 at 12:37 PM CST:
If you have an active Playstation Plus membership and a PSVita console, you can now download and play Terraria for free. Terraria is a 2D mine/build game with an emphasis on gear, ingredient hunting and combat, that plays a bit like a Metroid or Castlevania game. It may not be up to date compared the the PC version(yet), but the console controls give it a different feel that PC players might appreciate, or give you a taste of the PC version (which I recommend anyone with a compatible PC to own XP) for those who don't have it yet. The LEGO® Movie Video Game Console Bundle Posted by Richard on June 10, 2014 at 08:26 AM CST:
To my knowledge this is the first time a LEGO® branded video game has been sold as an official console bundle. The console is basicly a PSVita turned into a micro console, so it may not be a definitive version of the game. Considering the standalone device is $99.99 while it's Dual Shock3 controller is $39.99, the $139.99 bundle with the two together and the digital download game voucher, 8gb memory card and hdmi cable, I don't see how anyone inclined to buy the console can resist. Terraria Now Out On iOS, Android, Steam Update Soon. Posted by Richard on September 13, 2013 at 08:37 PM CST:
If you like building in video games, Terraria was just released for Android, and has been available for some time on the iOS app store. The PC/Steam version has more content however, and even has a free major update listed for October 1st. Terraria is a "Metroidvania" style game, except virtually everything is mineable and craftable, allowing you to mold the world to your liking. The mobile version is currently $4.99 for the full version, while Steam has the PC version listed at $9.99. Forum link.
Hero Factory Brain Attack In LEGO® Stores, iOS/Android Game Available Posted by Richard on January 4, 2013 at 08:47 PM CST:
I found all of the Hero Factory Brain attack sets that had been listed on LEGO® Shop @ Home in my local store. A couple interesting things to note, Furno XL is not a boxed set, and comes in a bagister (my made up word for bag/canister) like the others do. Also, the iOS/Android Brain Attack game is available now for free, and seems to get a bonus of some sort (in game currency for upgrades) for entering in codes from corresponding Hero Factory sets. I have no idea if they are one use codes or one per game play, etc. The game is not listed under The LEGO Group so you will have to search for Brain Attack to get it. Forum link.
