BIONICLE® Ignition Number Four, “A Cold Light Dawns”, tells the story of VEZON and introduces UMBRA, as the PIRAKA and the TOA INIKA continue to work their way toward the Mask of Life. UMBRA garners the back cover as you will have an opportunity to “test your shooting skills” and receive a free poster at select Wal-Mart stores in October.
Inside, you can join the “BIONICLE Blaze of Battle Challenge”, a new contest where you set up a TOA INIKA versus PIRAKA battle scene, take a picture, and write an essay in your quest to win up to $100 worth of BIONICLE sets.
I was a little surprised to discover that UMBRA can transform into a second “light form”. The reason? “Umbra” means “shadow”. UMBRA’s quick appearance and defeat reminds me of the past brief appearances of the EXO-TOA.
At the end the comic, the TOA INIKA are buried (by KONGU!) and the PIRAKA are marching on toward the Mask of Life. We are promised a battle with VEZON and FENRAKK, and the “shocking fate of the Mask of Life”, in the next issue.
