A Warning For First Time LEGO S&H Buyers
Posted by Richard on July 1, 2009 at 12:07 PM CST:
Particularly if you have never shopped through LEGOŽ Shop At Home services before (Online or by phone), you should know that a weird funds check system is in use by the LEGOŽ company, being unaware of it COULD cost you some extra charges from your bank. Please check out the full report.

To make a long story short, if you use a debit card that can act like a credit card for online purchases, make sure you have at least double the purchase price of your online shopping in your account. My bank was exploiting a "funds availability check" process to charge me an exorbitant overdraw fee.

The LEGO® Group latter had a conversation with my bank, one they apparently needed to exclude me from, where they convinced the bank to refund me for the fees. I've always imagined the conversation was about who had more lawyers XP

UPDATE: Ive finished the written portion of the review and added a few pictures here and there. You can find my thoughts on this year's biggest (and most expensive) BIONICLEŽ set in the full report.

If only it came in blue, but I would have settled for sand brown too.

Happy Anniversary!
