Crabtree Mall LEGO Store Grand Opening
Posted by Richard on June 23, 2009 at 05:42 PM CST:
There wasn't anything of much interest at the Grand Opening other than the LEGOŽ Master Builder event. Read on to see the pictures.

If I wasn't trying to leave the articles untouched I'd probably rewrite this one to better explain that I would have had more pictures if I wasn't told after the fact that I had to delete anything showing the smaller creations in the sealed displays.

I've hit some snags trying to buy my own sets for review, and Yamamura from the forums has come to the rescue with these two reviews: #8985 Ackar #8986 Vastus

To my complete surprise it seems Proboards forums has been brought back to life, wish I could say the same for the images Madaraki used in his reviews.

Glatorian Summer Sets Arriving Online!
Posted by Richard on June 29, 2009 at 05:44 PM CST:
The Glatorian Vehicles Are Now Available on LEGO Shop@home!. BZPower had spotted the sets listed online but they weren't available at the time. I checked back just a little bit ago to find my precious multiped vehicle was available ^_^. The Titan sized Mata Nui is not there just yet, but you can get a good look at him on BZPower.

The "multiped vehicle" was the Scopio XV1. And yes, I do sometimes perform a Gollum impression while holding it. If you knew how many Tachikomas were in my room you would understand why.
