MoC Spotlight, "FuelRunner"
Posted by Simon on September 1, 2007 at 11:14 PM CST:
MoD Member Shine has made another MoC in the form of FuelRunner. This is an interesting MoC because of its contruction, as you can see the 'eye' of it is a Blue Zamor held in by Mantax's foot and good use of the pieces constructed for the body and legs. Shine's topic can be found here.

Missing Lesovikk Part Identified?
Posted by Richard on September 2, 2007 at 05:23 PM CST:
A few of us have wondered what the missing part(s) might be that left us with the set being recalled and back ordered for quite a while, and it seems despite the set being recalled to fix this, that my set which arrived by mail the other day only had one of the two wheels that held the propeller blades in place, identified as part number 4299119 in the back of Lesovikk's manual, or the wheels that were used to create Umbra's "roller skate" feet. This part being uncommon to BIONICLEŽ sets, you may want to wait a bit longer to order or buy Lesovikk or be prepared for the risk of finding yourself with this missing part, but if you know a cheap set with the part or know about OTHER missing parts from the set, please let us know. If all else fails the LEGOŽ company will gladly replace the missing parts if you go through their customer service at www.LEGO.com.

More Lesovikk Issues!?
Posted by Richard on September 4, 2007 at 10:50 PM CST:
Good news and bad about this set which has already proven difficult to find and complete.
If you have ANYTHING with lime green sockets from Lesovikk's series, do not take it apart. Not even the replacements The LEGO Group sent me could be removed without breaking.

Mahri Games On Official BIONICLE Website and BZPower
Posted by Richard on September 7, 2007 at 12:19 AM CST:
Gakurak and Shiruk reported updates adding new games to BIONICLEŽ.com that I have only now managed to report on. These games seem to be based on the Toa Mahri, and BZPower was given an exclusive preview to host the Nuparu game before it goes onto the official website, so be sure to visit them.

Lime Green Sockets Defective In Most Recent Sets.
Posted by Richard on September 8, 2007 at 11:40 AM CST:
I haven't spoken with anyone from the LEGOŽ company directly about this issue, but after reading the various responses to the defective joints in Lesovikk, it seems most of the recent sets with the lime green sockets (the one that often makes up a Toa's hand) contain ones that were improperly cooled causing them to break upon removal. Ive seen reports that Toa MAHRI Hahli, Barraki Ehlek, and Lesovikk each may have these. Be careful when removing the part, and make sure your eyes are covered and try cupping your hands around the part when removing it just in case something launches off if it does break. The LEGO company is always happy to replace your defective parts.
