MoD Contest: Doppelganger

For this contest, we challenge you to pick any BIONICLE® set that you have two of, or to go out and buy two of the same set for this contest, or even dig up the parts from a total of two of one set you have in your bins of LEGO® parts lying around.

You must build a MOC limited only to the parts that come with two cannisters, or two boxes of that particular BIONICLE set. You cannot use any parts or parts in other colors that did not come with the two sets. You cannot paint, or modify the parts by cutting or breaking them. You may only enter ONE MOC into this contest. Staff will do their best to spot any rule breaking entries, and disqualify them before the vote finishes, but if the winner is found to break a rule after the vote has finished, the staff may or may not be able to revoke the prize or tittle depending on the circumstances.

I built this MOC using only the parts from two TARDUK Sets I had on hand, a le wahi monster with long claws as an example:

There will three categories, they are:

Small/Agori sized sets

Medium/Glatorian sized sets

Large/Titan and vehicle sized sets

Since you can use any BIONICLE set in the doppelganger contest, and you may be unsure of what category your MOC will go into, staff will choose which category your entry fits into for you.

PRIZES AND VOTING DETAILS!

Each category (small medium and large) will have one winning entry picked for a prize and the tittle of first place in their category. To be eligible to receive a prize, you must be able to receive a package from the LEGO.com Shop @ Home website, as I will be sending your prize through them. If you are picked as a winner I will contact you for a shipping address, and if for some reason you cannot receive a prize, you can choose to pass it to the runner up. If you are under the age of 18, you should ask your parent’s permission before you give out your address. For the prize, you can pick any one set available in your country via LEGO S@H up to 12.99 in value.

To enter in our contest, register for our forums , and then take pictures of your entry and post them in a topic in our My Own Creations section. If you do not have a way to store your images online to be posted on our forums, you can sign up at brickshelf.com , a site dedicated to hosting pictures of custom LEGO creations and upload your pictures there. You can then grab the URL for your pictures and post those in your MOC topic. To help us know your MOC is for the doppelganger contest, please include Doppelganger Contest in the topic tittle.

You have until November 5th to post your entry and have it ready to be voted on by your fellow forum members. Good luck!
