Heads In A Jar Displays

These are pretty easy to build, the only trouble is you have to hunt down a kraata jar, originaly sold for about $1.99 USD. These jars contained a random sticker and three Kraata collectables. If you dont have any, you may be out of luck as most stores do not carry them, but if you dont mind hunting through eBay…

Once you have the jars, you have to carefully peel the sticker off. Have you ever tried peeling off the sticker on a Glatorian or Toa Mahri cannister? Its actualy much easier, but if you pull too quickly you may have a mess of glue to buff off after. You will still need to clean off an after image the sticker leaves behind. Ten minutes of constant rubbing it with a cloth should take care of that, but if you happen to have an alchohol based hand sanitizer, rubbing a little of that on there and washing it off with water should have it ready in about thirty seconds.

You can use a few examples from above to plug the head into the jar, along with a favorite mask, otherwise as long as you have a few technic parts, you should be able to fit the head, wearing a mask, into the jar. Unfortunatley I was not able to find my favorite head in a jar display, my Infected Hau Olda (Which is the same mask in the banner on the top of the site). That particular head in a jar display was also a MOC of a toa who was just a head in a jar, and it had a gear underneath the mask that I could turn to make it look like he was looking around at people as I carried it, but since the gear fit just under the lid, you couldn’t really tell I was manipulating it. I called him Mr. Evil.
