While BIONICLE still might hit the shelves again next year as the 90th anniversary set (it certainly put up a good fight in the preliminary vote), there is another chance to get an official set via the BrickLink Designer Program. According to Brick Fanatics, the first 5 sets in this batch of the designer program to receive 3000 orders in the crowdfunding stage will be made into a set. The word crowdfunding may be a red flag for some, but BrickLink was purchased by the LEGO Group some time ago, and I feel like we can trust them on this.

Currently there are 26 sets in this batch of the designer program, and pre-orders start on July 1 at “4PM UK time”, or 11:00AM US Eastern Time. Better double check the time conversions and set an alarm if you want to try to bump this into the 3000s before the competition does.
