This fan art by Owen Stickley is entitled Thok the Drifter.

The scene is appropriately glacial for this Piraka of Ice, and the softness of the background objects and the snow caught in the wind combine nicely with the strong contrast of Thok himself, metallic and sharply defined. The Piraka’s stance is defiant, perhaps bracing against the elements as he surveys his environment — or tracks his prey.

A particularly captivating element of this piece is that the artist created two versions of it — one light and one dark. Each captures the subject’s loner-but-lethal personality very well.

Thok The Drifter, Rogue Solaris. A commission that I finally finished. Here I have interpreted Thok from the old Bionicle Piraka sets as a rogue Solaris rig jockey with a coolant powered cannon/blade.
