Looks like we’re going into a bit of a LEGO Ideas Brick-Built-athon, which seems like a suitable way to celebrate “Mata Nui Rising” getting 10k votes. I bumped into this beautiful MOC on the site while checking up on the aforementioned project.

This MOC by Laurgo23 proves Classic Space goes with everything, and BIONICLE is no exception. He manages to capture both the functionality and details of the Bohrok, and blends them perfectly with the classic space theme. In most cases, he even improves upon the functionality, like the spinning sawblade shield and bending knees.

The big blue Bohrok does have some drawbacks. It doesn’t quite fold up into a ball, and I think it missed the opportunity to make a “krana” ejector seat. It does however add cool details like those double-tank tread feet, and has a hatch to store a proper classic space moon-buggy.
