According to wyx via our Discord, we have lost another member of the BIONICLE legacy. Vass Gábor, the voice actor for the Hungarian version of Makuta, passed away recently.

wyx: “Makuta’s Hungarian voice actor just passed away from corona. This majorly stings, he was one of the most prolific and recognizable voice actors ever, multiple generations have grown up listening to him in hundreds of shows, movies, commercials and movie trailers. He was the VA I have been worried about the most, after we’ve lost so many other “old greats” over the years, I feared he would be next. He was only 64. And in purely Bionicle-related terms, if my count is correct, he’s the 10th Hungarian Bionicle voice actor/narrator to have died.”

According to the wiki wyx provided, Vass Gábor has played many roles, voicing lead characters in animated movies in everything from Disney to Ghost In The Shell. He has also dubbed well-known actors such as Samuel L. Jackson and Sean Connery. He even voiced Darth Vader (albeit one line) in Rise of Skywalker.
