Evil(er) Tahu

I couldn’t let Baxor have all the fun making Evil Tahu revamps. While far less complicated than Baxor’s design last month, I went with something more traditional. I mostly opted to add more articulation, and spruce up the shoulder design to complement his overall design better. I tried to keep his dimensions as close to the original as I could, `and gave him one more hand, making the sword more of a held accessory than attached to him.

The limbs, unfortunately, did not have much in the way of choices to look both decorative and functional, so I’ve opted not to use any armor, relying on the overall profile to provide the iconic look. I was also short on one gray forearm, so I used two black ones to keep it symmetrical. The thumbnails can be clicked to see the full sized pictures.

The neck is not quite what I would have liked to use, I suspect the right mixel joints would have provided him a more satisfactory solution. However, this provides the level of articulation I wanted, allowing him to look up, down, left and right. The parts have just enough grip to pose his head for photographs and keep it from falling off, but not quite enough to keep it from flopping forward and back during play.
