Due to some recent policy changes that The LEGO® Company has made regarding staff members visiting social sites like BZPower and ourselves in their free time, the staff members may not be allowed to interact directly with children under 13 years of age. We haven’t been visited by a LEGO staff member in more than a year, so technically it doesn’t apply to us, but BZPower has been placed in an unfortunate position as a result , where they must find some way to accommodate this policy or risk losing all interaction with LEGO Staff members on their site. I Imagine this policy probably came about as a result of Child Protection laws, specifically the ones stating children under 13 cannot legally agree to terms of service such as the ones on forums like our own (requiring that any child under 13 must have their parents create an account for them, and allow them to use the account under their supervision). I hope everyone will give BZP and the LEGO Company their support and understanding in this policy change. .
