MoD readers Jordan and Deaddude both report seeing commercials for the BIONICLE ® playsets. From MoD reader Deaddude:
I would like to report that on 5:58 PM EDT on Nickelodeon there was a commercial for the BATTLE OF METRU NUI playset. It showed not only the playset itself but CGI scenes of a VISORAK army marching towards the towers, with an enormous Kahgarak (gold and blue from BoMN) leading them. It then shows features of the towers and then VAKAMA HORDIKA charging at the VISORAK with a staff modeled after the one from the playsets, along with the other HORDIKA afterwards. It finished off with them announcing the playsets as a BIONICLE first and saying – “New BIONICLE playsets”. Thats all I can remember.
