The September issue is still on the only shelf in town that stocks this magazine, but I managed to secure a copy of the all-important October issue, which features another article about BIONICLE™. This article gets a bit deeper into the technical aspects of filming MASK OF LIGHT, including mention of a few ways they cheated to work around such a tight schedule (apparently, if this was a traditional animated movie, the groundwork would have begun about the same time the first wave of toys were being designed). Included with the article are two pieces of concept artwork, one showing TAHU NUVA’s head in happy and sad poses, and the other showing what appears to be a four-view plan for an unarmored TOA body.
