MoD reader Matoro presents us with a Christmas tree decorated MATA NUI style. It’s a pretty cool look, though there are a few things to keep in mind when doing this. First, it’s going to take a whole heap of gold and silver KANOHI to decorate a full-size Christmas tree (I think I might have enough…but then again, I bought over 100 KRANA packs), so little trees are a good way to go if you’ve only got a few dozen (and your parents are a lot less likely to have a problem with it). More importantly, however, is the fact that Christmas tree lights get hot if you leave them on for a while, so make sure your KANOHI are not actually touching any of the bulbs, or you might have a jolly green fire-hazard on your hands. A safer way to go is to avoid backlighting the KANOHI at all, and just hanging them as basic ornaments. Sure it’s not as cool looking, but cool looks won’t unburn your house.
