The November – December 2001 issue of LEGO® MANIA™ Magazine includes cheat codes for LEGO® BIONICLE™: QUEST FOR THE TOA which unlock the mini-games in Single Player mode. Ordinarily you would have to progress through the main story to reach and unlock the mini-games. But if you are in a hurry, or you are just plain stuck, here is the procedure:

1. Enter the cheat code as the name of your character and select END.
2. Press the A BUTTON to create the player.
3. Press the START BUTTON to access the PAUSE MENU after speaking with the first villager.
4. Select QUIT GAME and confirm by selecting YES.
5. Select NO when asked whether to save your game.

Now you have access to MINI GAMES in the MAIN MENU.

The cheat codes are not very hard to figure out on your own. Each is six characters long. The first three characters are from a mask code (no dashes), and the last three are from a can code. The two go together, of course, and together they unlock the mini-game associated with that particular Toa’s village.
