Unlike other NFC Figure based games, LEGO® Dimensions promised you would not need to keep buying new starter packs year to year. So far, the LEGO® Company is making good on that promise. A new batch of figures will start arriving on shelves in September, that will unlock new downloadable worlds. I’m guessing the new content will be downloaded automatically as a patch, since the online FAQ says nothing about downloading content packs manually from your game console’s store page.
