These don’t seem to pop up on the market very often, despite filling up literal walls of LEGO outlet stores years ago, trying to clear them out at a heavy discount. I do personally regret not grabbing a few from the aforementioned giant wall when I had the chance, especially given the current prices. Somehow I also missed out on the Toa Hordika version released when I had the disposable income to pick one up! They look like they would have made for a great MOC part in a larger creation, if not just to sit on a shelf to actally be used as a customized clock.
They retailed for $24.99 and $29.99. BrickEconomy suggests they are worth $107.47 new.
If you want one in the best available condition for a collectors item, scarcity seems to have brought it up to US $202.87 (EUR 189.00) from Bionicle Superstore on Bricklink.
By comparison, this one is not looking too bad for $149.99 on eBay if you like collectibles with some “character” to show off. This seller has an “or best offer” option though, so maybe you can point out the BrickEconomy listing and get the seller to budge, especially given it’s significant shelf wear? Update: This seller seems to offer a 50 dollar price to viewers via email when logged into you eBay account.
This one prominently features Tahu instead of the black background with BIONICLE branding for only SG $75.00 (~US $56.3779) from a seller in Singapore. It is new/sealed, although in a heavily worn box according to the seller. If you want to use it as a functional clock and advertise you belong to the BIONICLE fan community, then Tahu certainly makes it stand out more, and for about a hundred bucks cheaper than the other options.
My personal recommendation, especially if you plan to put this on a shelf or in a MOC, is to check out this pre-owned clock from a seller in Texas for $39.99 or best offer, and maybe try offering 30 bucks. The seller is pretty generous on the pictures too, my only concern is the lack of a picture showing the opened battery compartment to check for corrosion.
