Sometimes, you just need a bunch of one part. I’m sure most BIONICLE MOC builders would agree that part number 32174 and some of it’s revised designs are one of the most vital pieces to have on hand. Some revisions are notorious for breaking simply for being used as intended, and should be avoided. 32174 is not perfect, and I’ve had a few break, though the vast majority remain undamaged in my MOCs when I pull them out for display. I particularly liked the version included in the G2 sets, and The LEGO Group has even made a reinforced version of that, though they are not easy to find in bulk for a good price.

If you want a quick and easy stockpile of part 32174, this eBay listing has 200 for $13.99 (Shipping is $7.75 for me). The seller also has 200 in black for the same price. After shipping, thats about 11 cents each.

They can also be found in similar quantities for 1-2 cents each on Bricklink with some hunting, although thats before shipping costs. You should always send the seller a message to ask about shipping fees before ordering, especially from an out-of-country seller. If the shipping checks out though, you can easily save a few dollars compared to shopping on eBay.
