On eBay , the most recent auction for the 14 rare European misprint KANOHI resulted in a winning bid of only $138.50. That is under $10 per mask, a record low.
The previous low had been $196.50, back on September 25. The average had been around $250, but some softening in the market has been evident as of late.
A set of six Euro RURU garnered a bid of only $35.44 on December 3, failing to meet the reserve price. A full set of 72 standard masks plus an INFECTED HAU and a COPPER HUNA garnered a bid of only $74.00 on December 4, also failing to meet the reserve price.
It is hard to judge the market on just one auction. The misprint auction above was just a five day auction and ended at an unusual time. (Auction prices, on average, vary predictably according to length of auction and when they close. More on this in an upcoming story.)
