When hurricane Mathew ran through our area, it knocked our power offline for an extended period of time. None of my flashlights seemed to be where I left them, including ones that stay plugged into an outlet in case of a power-out. I had just enough daylight left to put together a flashlight with an old Mindstorms lamp and a battery box, which then game me the light I used to build this headlamp with newer parts.
