MOC: DaShad The Betrayed

This is a MOC by LegoMetal44

LegoMetal44’s DaShad is a beautiful creation built from mix of high detailed greebling and technic parts. The geometry and angles give the character a very mechanical look, while the custom built head makes him look expressive and alive. You can see tons of tiny building tricks throughout the design that were used to get the shape just right, and LegoMetal44 went so far as to include individually articulated toes. I’ll direct you to the MOC’s DeviantArt page to check out the character’s lore, and hopefully give LegoMetal44 the views his creations deserve.

If I have any constructive criticism, it relates to the MOC’s story and the reference of using “Metal and wires” to make his creations and repair himself. Maybe I interpret this wrong, though I feel like there should be more wires visible on the repaired half of DaShad’s body. Additionally, it looks more like DaShad has a two-toned color scheme rather than having rebuilt part of himself, so I think altering the texture and shape of the parts more drastically on one half might reflect that better. Ignoring the story behind the character though, I would be hestiant to change anything, it just looks good as it is.

You can see more of LegoMetal44’s excellent work here on DeviantArt, including not just MOCs, but also artwork, photography, and some writing.
