Obsessionist
Obsessionist included this link with the creation’s flickr page, however I think he must have intended for readers to see the video from the beginning. Additionally, this link will take you to a section of the video showing a much livelier village, which shows some of the other details featured in the MOC, like the chime instrument.
There are so many things I love about this MOC. It looks like a fully functional playset, complete with a working elevator. Obsessionist made great use of parts, and the simple repetition of the Pohatu torso pieces to make the tree was brilliant, and gives it a nice jagged look suitable for tree bark.
If I were to offer constructive criticism, the tree trunk does look a bit hollow, and maybe some Pahrak shields could have been used to round it out and cover some gaps? A few bits of green and some vines along the trunk might help break up the monotonous design too. I would love to see this MOC expanded upon, with a couple more trees of differing sizes and a couple rope/plank bridges to connect them.
You can see more of this builder’s creations here on flickr. Obsessionist is very talented with both BIONICLE and system creations.
