This is a MOC by Sokoda

Sokoda’s Pewku looks like it came straight out of the movie. I would have loved to see this as a pack-in bonus for the Mask of Light DVDs. Pewku has so many points of articulation, and the tiny claws look like a lot of fun. Though originally designed with minifigures in mind, Pewku is just big enough for Takua from the GWP set to ride in. I’ll direct you to Sokoda’s BlueSky post to see the rest of Pewku’s pictures and give his work the views it deserves.

As for constructive criticism, some parts of the MOC look a bit fragile. I would want to play with it, though I think I’d have to constantly put it back together. The claws are also a touch small compared to the movie version it’s based on. I would love to see a revision with claws more to scale with the source material.

If your not familiar with Sokoda’s work, I believe they are best known for designing this BIONICLE® Legends Tribute set. He mostly works with bricks and Stud.io, and their creations are incredible, especially the miniatures of BIONICLE characters. Sokoda is not a bad artist either.
