Demon1408’s LEGO Space Marine Tahu is based on the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game by Games Workshop. If you look up “Space Marine 40k”, you will see some of the helmets match Tahu’s mask almost too perfectly, so it’s no surprise that the two brands would be combined. There are even kitbashes using BIONICLE masks and other parts in custom 40K game-pieces.

I particularly like Demon1408’s Space Marine design because it focuses on LEGO Technic/CCBS wherever possible, while switching to System as needed to capture those tiny details and structures of the armor that just don’t have a good equivalent. The giant boots of the space marine power armor are especially well captured using the technic armor, while the iconic shape of their pauldrons and crest are recreated using bricks and minifigure parts. There is only one thing I find missing from this MOC, and that is a proper chainsaw sword. If he could find a way to combine the Space Marine chainsaw design with Tahu’s fire sword, then it would help tie the two themes together as a BIONICLE/Warhammer combo. As it is, it looks more like a Warhammer MOC with a red hau mask than Tahu as a space marine.
