Spectra, Celestial Painter
Traveling across the galaxy in search of inspiration.

Alieraah’s Spectra is an artistic creation on more than one level. The character’s design and minimal story can be interpreted a number of ways, though I tend to think Spectra is something akin to a celestial being, able to travel between worlds by their own power. Or maybe their just an alien with a spaceship? The black, clear, and rainbow colors all imply things about light spectrums. Then theres the accessories the character uses; A folding wooden easel, art supplies, and several miniature paintings. It comes together very well. Ill send you over to the Bluesky post where I found Spectra to see more photos of the MOC and give Alieraah the traffic they deserve for their work.

As for constructive criticism, I only worry about the rainbow wheel on Spectra’s chest. Those clear wheels tend to crack after a while when studs are plugged into the holes. Visually theres nothing wrong, though it will likely damage the MOC if left like that. Other than that, I would just like to see more paintings to accompany the MOC, maybe some kind of celestial themed art gallery wall? I’d probably get a few black plates and connect them on hinges to make a foldable, bendable wall, with colored studs along the bottom to mimic the colors on Spectra’s flexible bands. The curve would allow it to be free standing without much effort, and the paintings could be hung across each section of wall.
