This MOC is by The 17th Chronicler
Though this video may be a bit grainy, I still found The17thChronicler‘s MOC compelling enough to watch regardless. It’s just the right amount of fun to look at and play with. I was impressed by how much of it was fairly simply to build, but left you with the impression of something more complex. The story behind the character is also interesting, explaining how he wound up with a giant propeller attached to his back and why he is simply called “The Pilot”.
The only thing I find detrimental to the design is the microphone arm on the side of his head, I cant help but want to revise it into something much thinner. Perhaps a pneumatic T valve paired with something thin and curved to wrap around his head, like the battle droid arm would do the trick?
Although it’s been more than 4 years since The17thChronicler’s last upload, they’ve created plenty of BIONICLE content over the years. In addition to some very creative MOCs, you can find revamps of classic characters and modifications to many official CCBS sets including Star Wars and BIONICLE.
