MOC: Ultimate Ancient Gear Toa

This is a MOC by Youtube user KenC

KenC ‘s “Ultimate Ancient Gear Toa” is a fun creation to see in motion. The gears link the two arms together, and a lever with one set of gears can be lifted to allow an arm to move independently. I’m not sure if there’s a purpose to this feature, but I love how the gears look when they are moving in sync with the MOC’s arms. The centaur design doesn’t look bad either, and plays well into the overall mechanical appearance.

The rest of the visible gears on this creation appear to be unmoving, and I’d really like to see more of the creation in motion. If I were to use this as inspiration for a character of my own, I’d try to have a series of gears running down the spine that turned in sync with the gears on the shoulder.

KenC has very little LEGO content on their Youtube account at this time, which is a shame because they are clearly a talented builder, and I’d like to see more of their work. I only saw three MOC videos total, and one is another video of this creation as a WIP. The other is a quick demonstration of a zamor launcher built into a Toa’s torso.
