This is a creation by Ivan Martynov
If you don’t recognize the parts, these are from the LEGO Znap series. They’ve become a bit of an obscurity in LEGO MOCs because they never really caught on, and were only produced for a year. Ivan Martynov came up with the brilliant idea to build a Vahki out of the parts. If I’m not mistaken, it does have some articulation too. I can’t help but like how well the arms came out, they remind me of Bordakh’s tool design.
As for constructive criticism, I think the lower legs look a touch too skinny compared to the thicker legs of the official sets. I’m not familiar with all the Znap parts, though I see a number of pieces on the MOC that look small enough to fit over the lower legs and give the impression of bulking them up.
Ivan Martynov is an excellent builder, focusing on organic and cartoony characters, as well as mechanical ones. This Znap creation is not a good representation of his usual work, so I strongly encourage checking out his work on flickr to see what he is capable of.
