Nattarthetimedragon has posted so many excellent creations to our discord that I could probably feature hir work for an entire year straight. We featured hir Turaga back in September however, and featuring the same artists too frequently wouldn’t give me as much time to feature creations from other community members. Vahkiti however has personally requested we feature Nattar’s Bohrok Va collection, which is more than enough excuse for me XP

I feel Nattar’s work as a whole is a glimpse at what could have been, had The LEGO Group decided to reboot the series with classic BIONICLE at it’s core. I love how they look just a bit closer to their full sized Bohrok counterparts by the simple addition of the jaws and the colored oval torso pieces. I do have my complaints about how the torso is constructed, as it would not hold up well during play (And I do very much want to play with these).

It does however give it a very compact insectile appearance that fits in well with the design and concept the Bohrok were designed around. These Bohrok Va actually started out as a Matoran design, but Nattar was thinking about the concept art depicting the Matoran and Bohrok Va being evolutions from the same source, and one thing led to another.
