Our next short story is still in the final stages of development. In the meantime, however, we have expanded one of our comics to include a never-before-seen (yet quite canonical) showdown between the Boxors and the Bohrok-Kal. Not only does it give another rare glimpse into the Matoran exploits during the Bohrok-Kal arc, but it also shines insight into the Bohrok-Kal perspective. Check it out!
Those familiar with the comics who check out our other comics may also notice a handful of other additions to the stories. In addition to this full scene, there are also others such as Tahu’s struggle against a krana in the Bohrok nest, or Vezok and Avak’s escape from Balta’s trap. On top of these, the roles of each Matoran have been expanded slightly in Challenge of the Rahi to give each a role in defeating the Nui-Jaga; the Pohatu and Lewa face the Kane-Ra in Triumph of the Toa, the only 2001 Rahi missing from the climactic fight; the scene of Gali losing her powers in 2003 against the tidal wave is given attention. In true M&L fashion, these and many more scenes and details — fanon illustrations of canon events — can be found only here among the novelizations. Be sure to give them a read!
