A new quintet of evil creatures appears on Mata Nui–this time, taking the form of gigantic Toa! Even more ominously, these new Nightmare Toa exhibit the powers and magnified forms of five of Mata Nui’s greatest heroes: Gali, Onua, Kopaka, Pohatu, and Lewa. Perhaps these invaders–from a parallel universe?–are the work of the evil Makuta.

Fortunately, Mata Nui’s Toa have new forms of their own to counter the Nightmare Toa. Lewa and Onua have reassembled (literally!) in bigger, more powerful structures to spearhead Mata Nui’s latest, greatest hope: the Golden Force!
