This is a creation by HSRukodiora
HSRukodiora presents his character “Oblivion” in a slideshow, using the music to help tell a story without words and express the atmosphere surrounding the character. If you want more context, then you can find plenty of it here in this 6 part tale. His MOCs typically are not of characters set in the BIONICLE universe, but rather an original story that has some similar themes. The tale includes elemental powers, and technologically enhanced organic beings, though most notably differs in how god-like entities have power over different aspects of the universe. Oblivion’s construction uses a few interesting techniques and parts, I particularly like the transparent blue system chest piece used to fit the torso and help pull the colorscheme together.
If I have any constructive criticism, I’d like to see HS_Diora recreate the chain and dragon necklace using official LEGO pieces. It would be hard to get the scale down, though I suspect parts like the Batarang could easily function as the wings, and perhaps the tiny robot arms and other pieces seen in the Hero Factory and BIONICLE minifigures could represent the curling tail, and body of the dragon. There are plenty of chain parts, although unfortunately not long or thin enough to capture the same scale and look as good during the combat sequence photography.
–A quick update for the sake of representing the creation correctly; The use of the dragon necklace as a non-LEGO element represents a concept similar to the relics seen in “The LEGO movie”. If I understand the builder correctly, it’s intended to seem alien to the MOC, so building it out of bricks would go against that element of the story.
If you want to check out more of HS_Diora‘s creations and story content, you can find it spread out across different platforms. It looks like he has some content unique to each social media site, with some especially interesting MOCs that break free of the typical humanoid form in order to represent the uniqueness of his own story universe.
