Odds And Ends

  • Harakeke is a lily unique to New Zealand and is commonly referred to (incorrectly) as flax.
  • According to The Official Guide To BIONICLE™, there are only “48 krana (eight different types in the six colors of the different swarms).” The other 48 krana (in the six colors found in the BOHROK VA sets) are not mentioned anywhere.
  • The Toa of Light’s name changed three or four times during the script development for Mask of Light.
  • Although the tools pictured on the Mini CD-ROMs included with the RAHKSHI are incorrect (except for VORAHK), the data on each is correct. For example, PANRAHK’s CD has GUURAHK’s tool printed on it but information about PANRAHK contained in it.
  • BIONICLE Comic #13 is printed in the larger format. It appears that the comics this year are alternating back and forth between the larger and smaller formats.
  • Unlike previous issues, there are no credits in the latest issue (“7.03”) of LEGO® Magazine.
  • The RAHKSHI KAITA are named for their KRAATA: RAHKSHI KAITA VO (VORAHK’s KRAATA-VO) and RAHKSHI KAITA ZA (TURAHK’s KRAATA-ZA).
  • The MAKUTA van was all out of KRANA when I visited. They were giving away comics, stickers, T-shirts, RAHKSHI slap bracelets, and VAHI.
