After many months of work, I am excited to be able to present to you a comprehensive update to the Pictures section of BioMedia Project. No stone has been left unturned in bringing these images together.

I won’t be compiling a detailed change log for this one, as it is completely redone from the ground up. But here are a few highlights you might enjoy!

And there is much, much more to explore and discover. Take a look and see what you find!

While I have myself poured many hours into this archive, it would not have been possible without the aid of many others. First and foremost I need to thank Planetperson, whose BIONICLE Image Database served as the basis for this one. If it weren’t for him, I would definitely still be toiling away at this. If pictures of BIONICLE things is your thing, you should absolutely take a look at Planetperson’s work as well – it goes into much more granular detail with different sources/versions of images, and has fully implemented sourcing for images – something we do not yet have here!

joint-dogg and N have made numerous contributions that I’ve folded into this update as I worked on it – so many, it was difficult for me to keep track of it all. The image of the Rahi models used in Maze of Shadows is joint-dogg, as are the images of the weird ‘Be the Bionicle’ mockup site, and the stuff relating to Japanese and Korean 2002/03 combo models. N helped a ton by re-rendering some images GIMP hated the colorspace of, and located the Steinelager versions of 2005 set art.

You’ll notice as well a few things scanned in bleeding high-res by Vahkiti, among them the cool Mask of Light poster from Japan. Vahkiti also purchased a couple renders from the movies so we would have them in high quality! Hexedecimal Mantis’ findings related to BIONICLE The Game and City of Legends are finally in the archive formally. Wynn Martin scanned the Bohrok story ‘cards’ from the Bohrok Swarm story booklet. A few G2 items were sent in by Mxyl Valtapaz, including comics and background from the app games. Skelly popped in to link the set layout images from The Legend Reborn. Cherry Cherep first noticed Creative Capers was posting images (and more!) on their Instagram page. I’m also grateful to all who have contributed to the collection of images on BS01 over the years, a source I crawled for anything we were missing. In particular, user DiV4 grabbed a lot of great images relating to the video games from GP.

If you notice something in this update that you helped to get online, and you do not see yourself credited here or on the BMP credit page, please let me know right away so you can be attributed properly! You can reach me at pereki@maskofdestiny.com.

You will note that there are no package download options in this update. I apologize for the inconvenience – this is a change made to make future updates and additions much easier to complete and, by extension, faster to come out. It will also ensure that everything available stays accurate and up to date, as there is only *one* version of the archive. I hope that you will be able to use the images collected here in the ways you need by accessing them directly on the site.

Thank you once again to everyone.
