Okay, first of all, MoD readers Lac88, Green T 4 Frogs, and Cyfreak4 all wrote in to point out two other shapes emerging from the water (or whatever that is…) in the background. You can see them to either side of TAHU NUVA’s head. It’s hard to tell if they are more TOA NUVA, or if they are something else, though. The foreheads look more like BOHROK, but the glowing eyes are spaced more like TOA.
Second, people have been writing in asking what TAHU NUVA is, what the TOA NUVA are, and other questions of that sort. While LEGO® hasn’t been real forthcoming about these guys, we know that they will be very similar to the existing TOA, as evidenced by the prototype images that Paul Vreede sent us back in January. We also know that they will be available in September, with an MSRP of $7.99, based on what’s listed at Marz Distribution . (While the prices they show calculate out to $8.99, I checked the case price against those listed for the TOA and BOHROK, and they match exactly.) And since ‘nueva’ is Spanish for ‘new’, it stands to reason that ‘NUVA’ is probably intended to mean something similar.
Oh, and check out that brow ridge right above the eyes in the attached image. I’m sure it was unintentional, but that profile looks very similar to the helmet of a certain Dark Lord of the Sith…
