I wasn’t trying for a duck. Really. It just sorta happened. I just wanted to get rid of the grey/orange color scheme, and the only other pieces I had available for the sides of the torso were black. And I had a few other pieces in black. And pretty soon I realized I had just squeezed Daffy into the BIONICLE™ universe. Still, it looks kinda cute.
I tweaked the neck design a bit so I could get rid of the light-grey bushing right behind the head, as it threw off the color scheme too much. I also flipped the wings around so they sweep forward like a real bird’s, and I tweaked the mountings so I could fill in the gap in the middle of the upper torso.
