This is the last scheduled week in the Happy Meal TOHUNGA promotion, so if you haven’t found them all by now, it’s time to get a bit more creative. Yesterday I was able to get KONGU, the last one I was missing, by calling and asking a manager for that specific set. She told me that they had a case of them, but they hadn’t opened it yet, so I was able to get the first ones out of the box.

If you’re going to try this yourself, make sure you talk to a manager if they don’t already have them open, as regular employees usually aren’t allowed to open new boxes of Happy Meal toys until they empty the current opened box. At least, that’s how it was when I worked at McD’s in high school. Also, be prepared to ask for it by name, number, or color. I’ve found that a lot of people can’t pronounce the names at all, and some people aren’t even aware that they have big huge numbers in the upper right corner of the package.
