MoD reader eva_unit_4a tipped us off to a 1-page article about BIONICLE™ written by Alastair Swinnerton. It can be found in the February, 2003 issue of Animation Magazine . I finally managed to track down a copy (only one bookstore in town actually carries it), and while Mr. Swinnerton tactfully avoids letting loose any spoilers, it’s still quite an interesting read. Amongst other nuggets, we find out who really created BIONICLE™, the hardest thing about pitching an idea to corporate executives, and why they stopped advertising the BIONICLE™ toys in some countries. (Is it just me, or does he sorta resemble Ben Stiller?)
