Wall of History: Artakha’s Big Month, Week Five: Flame of the Heart

SPARK THE FLAME OF THE HEART
FOR THE FUTURE TO START

Christian Faber, “The Ignition Poem”

Artakha’s Big Month, Wall of History’s latest update initiative, is now complete. For the fifth and final week, we focused on adding new or improved content to the Ignition story arc.

As was tradition by this point, we started out on days twenty-six and twenty-seven with two new themes, for the Voya Nui and Mahri Nui chapters of the BIONICLE legend.

You can see these themes in action here and here, respectively.

For days twenty-eight and twenty-nine, we added new scans of both versions of BIONICLE Ignition #3: Showdown.

The standard version, accessible here, was included with LEGO Magazine in 2006. The variant cover version, accessible here, was a Comic-Con 2006 exclusive.

Our final update for Artakha’s Big Month was a new scan of BIONICLE Sea of Darkness #11: Death of a Hero. You can check it out here.

And with that, Wall of History’s most intense update initiative ever has finished. We hope you’ve enjoyed these updates, and that they’ve got you looking forward to what’s coming next — because this is nowhere close to the end. We plan to create new scans for every BIONICLE comic released, and hope to one day preserve every official piece of translated BIONICLE media.

That being said, our next site design update, originally scheduled for October 8th, will likely need to be pushed back. Artakha’s Big Month proved to be more daunting of a task than initially envisioned, which left little time for the layout improvements and reference upgrades we’ve been working on since 810NICLE Day. As such, this update will likely be broken down and released in phases between now and the end of the year — so be sure to keep an eye on our Twitter for the latest information on them!
